What payment methods are accepted?

Payments are made via PayPal. You may use any valid source of funding in PayPal that you have setup including: your own bank accounts, credit cards, money transfers, etc.

I'm interested in purchasing but cannot use PayPal. May I pay some other way?

You can pay via personal check, or money order through the mail. If you need to do this, please contact us and we will give you the proper mailing address. We will email you when your payment has been processed and your products are ready for pick-up.

How are products delivered after puchase?

Upon successful PayPal payment, you are automatically added into our customer database, and given access to download the products that you've purchased. If you already have an account, the products are simply added into your collection. You can pick them up by downloading them in the customers area.

What is the purchase download policy?

You may download the products after you have purchased them. Each product has an independent download counter. The download counter will keep track of how many times you have downloaded the product. This is necessary to keep bandwidth usage in conservative ranges. If you find that your counter has ticked down and need to re-download the products, simply use the customers area download counter reset request form. We will reset the counter for you so you can re-download.

You mean I can download forever as long as I have an account?

For smaller types of products that aren't extremely large file sizes, like a bank or a skin, yes. For the larger file size products, yes, within reason. Your downloads will never expire, and you will always be able to re-download them, even if you have to ask us to reset your download counter. Please do not abuse this privilege. We reserve the right to throttle or limit or deny potentially abusive usage of this generous policy.

Where do I access the downloads of products I purchased?

You use the customers area to download the products you've purchased. You can find a direct link to the products you own at the bottom of every page in the directory footer.

What if I can't remember my user name?

This is very unlikely to happen as the user name is your PayPal email address that you used when purchasing the products. If you have updated your email address since purchasing and have also updated your email on file with PayPal, you may update your customer profile in the customers area to reflect your current situation. If you have ordered long ago, and have since switched emails, and still cannot remember, you may contact us via email to give you the necessary credentials, but you will need to provide proof of your purchases via forwarding PayPal receipts, order numbers, etc. It is your responsibility to make sure you store your purchase records in a safe place for future use. In extreme scenarios where there may have been some extinuating circumstances, we will apply our best judgment at that time.

What if I can't remember my password?

If you have forgotten your password, never fear, you may use the link at the top of every page just above the login button in the existing members login form to reset your password. This requires a valid and active email address, of course. If you can't remember your email (user name), see above.

How do I obtain support for products purchased?

Simply login to your customers area and use the support request form. We will attempt to assist as soon as possible, and hope to provide a response within 2-3 days at maximum (we strive to respond sooner than this as a standard however).

Where is the EULA?

The End User License Agreement (EULA) for each product is displayed before downloading the product and is also included within the download product archives themselves. Installing/using the product means you agree to the EULA. If you disagree, do not use the product, which means you wont be able to download it. If you find you disagree with the EULA after you have purchased and before you have downloaded please contact us.

Top License Transfers

May I transfer products or sell my account?

The short answer is Yes, you may. License transfers can be arranged in the customers area using the license transfer request form the license transfer process is instant and painless. Full account sales are a more precarious situation and require personal attention and are handled individually on a case by case basis. There is no automatic account transfer option. If you wish to sell all of your products, well we're sorry to hear that and we'd like you to contact us to discuss where we've failed for you. We'll use email to work through the process.

What is the license transfer fee?

For individual account transfers, there is no fee. It's absolutely free. Full account transfers, where you transfer every product you currently own costs $5.00 because we have to do a little monotonous footwork on our end. If you only own one product, it might make more sense to just keep your account rather than to pay for the transfer fee. We hate having to charge for this, because it's annoying and a hassle on all parties involved, but hopefully this situation will never arise, and it's truly our earnest desire to keep your business, keep you happy with lots of good feelings and no ill will, too busy making music with the stuff you buy from us to ever need or want to sell your account! :)

How do I perform a license transfer?

It's pretty simple. Use the license transfer request form. You choose the product you wish to transfer, and enter the buyers email address. The system automatically detects if they are existing customers or not yet customers, and it dispatches a License Transfer Notice, and an as needed Welcome Letter. The product is instantly transfered from you to your new buyer. The new buyer simply logs in to the customers area using the credentials they are sent in the Welcome Letter, or their existing Soundgasm Design customer credentials, and are on their way.

First, thanks! It's great that you want to spread our products to your readers. Typically arrangements can be made to accommodate this situation, but please contact us before you distribute anything.

I am an end-user. May I distribute demo products downloaded on this site?

Hey we're really glad that you enjoy our products so much that you want to just spam everyone on the net with links to download them :) As long as you link to our official links here on the site, we're A-OK with it. You can get the official demo download, or manual download links by right-clicking on those buttons on each of the product pages, and choosing Copy Link, or Copy Shortcut. Paste away my friends! However, please do not copy the demo archives off of our site and host them elsewhere. This is not A-OK. Please have some respect for us and honor this policy. In certain situations we may allow a third-party (affiliate, or such) to host the demo files, but as an end-user we ask you not to do this. Thanks!

I represent a commercial entity. May I distribute demo products downloaded on this site?

Please contact us. Unless you are the company/developer of the effect/instrument/program the product we are selling relates to, in which case, you can do whatever the heck you want, and many thanks to you for building your great works as well as for distributing our products!
